Failed to open the connection. Details: Database vendor code 17. This is the error am getting when try to generate crystal reports. In the same project, i can do other operations on the same database like insert, update, delete and select. Just can not generate the reports. However on the development machine, i can view the reports.

I fixed it. Since the problem was with connectivity, i put in a custom user in the application pool''s identity problem solved.
