Hi,

First of all let me mention that I dont have much experience in Web Services models.

I have a C#.net client application (a windows application) that needs to consume a java based web service. My client app works fine for most of the web services but several WS calls return different types of results based on the set of inputs and/or based on the data the server pulls from its database.

When the web service returns some properties as null and some populated, my client application fails at the WS call and thorows an error. I have no control over the web services but am only consuming them. Without doing any configuration changes in server side, is there a way to change my client application to handle multiple response choices?

I'm really puzlled with this behaviour. Some say C# is inherently incapable of handling Choices, but I don't believe that.
