I've just installed Team Explorer Everywhere 14.0.4.201611301102 in Eclipse 4.5.2.  If I run the 'Add Existing Team Project' wizard to connect to our on-premises TFS server 2015 (Version 14.95.25229.0), the wizard connects, retrieves the project list from the collection.  It appears to site that my windows credentials will be used (Windows icon with my username below a hyperlink to the tfs web portal).

However when I select one of the listed projects (using TFS for source control), and click 'Finish', the wizard pops up an error dialog 'Error occurred in wizard completion.  More details are available in the Eclipse Platform log. credentials must be UsernamePasswordCredentials or CookieCredentials'

The order of credentials searching is listed here:http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11448922/team-explorer-everywhere-with-eclipse-authentication.  Just in case, I tried checking Windows Credential Manager, however when I try to open it, I get 'Error Code 0x80071AAF: The encryption operation could not be completed because a transaction is active.'
