I'm trying to build a multitouch table with Kinect. I don't want to build a table like in some youtube videos. I do prefer a multitouch table like MSFT Surface (projector and camera is below the glass).

My problem is the surface. Plexiglas (I tested 2mm and 4mm) is very good as a touch surface because it does affect the Kinect depth stream in a small way only. Which material should I use to display the beamer projection on?

It would be nice to know the wavelength of the Kinect depth camera (for talking to some physical/chemical guys).
