Hi,

I need to sign an enterprise Windows Phone application packaged in appx. Do I need to use Symantec certificate or can I use a certificate from other authority?

I would like to be able to install the appx on Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows Phone 10 devices.

if you plan to submit to the store then no fancy cert is required. You just sign the appx with any locally generated scratch certificate and eventually Microsoft will sign the package that is released to customers
