We're trying to come up with a simple solution for linking emails to support tickets. I understand there are a TON of email tracking/harvesters programs, but they all have their own little issues & deficiencies.

I thought i had a simple solution that's turning out to be not so simple :( All I want to do is create a link to https://outlook.office.com/owa that our users can click with pre-formatted search criteria.

You can add an ID to the subject line for keeping the support thread and identifying emails easily. To use REST API you need to develop your own web site/page where you can display the requested info.
