I need to upload a daily Excel file in the .xlsb format located on a shared drive to a table in Access. I'm new to Access so have a lot to learn, but the most puzzling part of this task is the way the report author formats the file name. The file starts with a standard file name then the current days date, it's the date format which I'm having problems with, an example of the file name is "End Of Day - Y2017-M03-D10 report.xlsb" I'm accustomed to dates being formated as 2017-03-10, but not with the letters YMD included in the date.
