I've been trying to install visual studio 2017 and every time I run the installer, only a blank window shows up. Interestingly enough, if I hover my mouse around the areas where buttons should be, like the browse button for choosing file location for example, the mouse recognize it and I can actually click on it. But blindly moving my mouse around is not enough for me to install visual studio properly, any ideas how to solve this? I tried re installing the installer multiple times and the issue still remains.

Refer to your description, I found a similar issue: On some systems, Visual Studio Installer shows blank screen and some community members shared the solutions as below:

1. Update your graphics drivers or disable graphics acceleration
2. Run the installer as administrator
3. Open another installer without closing the first one
