I had copied a dialog box resource form one project to another by copying the .h and .cpp files and by copying the .rc file.

The dialog box is copied but the edit boxes in the dialog box appears black.  Can any one say what could be the possible reason for this. I am using Visual Studios 2015. Thanks in advance

It is not that simple. There are files that need to be modified. I forget what I used to do but I think it is possible to copy and paste dialogs using the designer.
