Does anyone know if it is possible to host the TFS web site as an application under another IIS web site? I currently have a main IIS site that hosts SharePoint Server 2016 as well as some other custom applications I've set up as child applications in the IIS site. I know that TFS essentially hosts everything in a separate web site in an application at /tfs. Just wondering if I can host this application under my main IIS site as opposed to having it on its own independent IIS site.

Yes,you can host on the same IIS  ensure the port numbers doesn't conflict and it is advised to host on seperate server if you have too many concurrent users to connecting to your TFS.
