All of my templates are in Italion or maybe spanish. The disk was manufactured in Puerto Rico but it clearly states the English version. I have made sure that my default setup is English. What is wrong & what can I do

Actually what you are seeing is Lorum Ipsum.
It is a dummy text simply added as a filler for the templates.
It was invented around 1500 and is based on classical Latin literature from around 45 BC.
