I've been trying to figure out how to use clipping paths as a masking technique, but there seems to be one consistent problem. When moving the object which is masked by the clipping path, the clipping path moves with it. I found a help video which demonstrates what I'd like to do : microsoft tutorial video (skip to about 8:20), but even when I follow the directions exactly I can't get it to behave the same way. Any tips would be helpful

I think I might be misunderstanding your problem, but is it possible to apply the clipping path to the Grid or another panel that contains your content, so that moving the content does not move the clipping path?
