I have built a basic, yet specialized calculator for my work, Mud Engineer on drilling rigs, and I'm unable to figure out how to try it out on my phone. I have read about sideloading and sks, but nothing tells you how to do it.

Please make answers simple as you can, my tech jargon and knowledge is basic at best

Before sideloading apps to your mobile device, you’re supposed to generate your package(.appx) first. If you don’t know how to create a package using Visual Studio, see here.

Then you might do the following things:

• Enable your Windows Phone with developer mode.
• If you want to sideload on Windows 10 mobile, connect your Windows 10 device to the same subnet or connect it directly to your Windows 10 machine with a USB connection.  Then use the WinAppDeployCmd.exe tool to deploy your app.
• For Windows 8.x,after connecting your device with machine you could use Application Deployment tool to deploy your app.
