I have a project in VSO where I want to allow my stakeholders (i.e. customer representatives) to be able to add stories and bugs in a subarea but not in the backlog.

I have created a team room and added the stakeholder's microsoft account to the team members and the user can access the team room. The problem is that he also sees everything in the backlog. If I remove the team user group from Contributors the stakeholder no longer has access to work items in the backlog but he can't also see work items in the team area.

How can I give access to a user only to a team room and it's area and iterations without giving access to the project backlog.
