下载VS 2017社区版并试用。

保留旧的VS2015版本以防万一出现问题。

I only know how to make an ASP.NET MVC 5 Web Application in Visual Studio 2015 Community. I want to continue building applications in ASP.NET MVC 5 because I don't have time to learn ASP.NET Core/MVC 6.

If I update my Visual Studio to the latest 2017 version, will I still be able to create new ASP.NET MVC 5 Web Applications? Also, will I be able to open old ASP.NET MVC 5  applications from Visual Studio 2015 projects? 

I'd appreciate it if you can answer my question. Thank you.

Download VS 2017 community edition and try it.

Leave your old VS2015 version on just in case there are any problems.
