Hi,

I am trying to link up ABAQUS with visual studio, however I am under the impression I require a version older than 2017, with 2013 being the suggested version to use. I am able to download VS community through my university, and believe I have also been setup to use Visual Studio Dev Essentials. When I try and download visual studio 2013 (express editions) from the following link, I get either get an error (Message code 715-123150), or no response at all. Incidently, the version I really want is vs2013 community, which I can see on this link, wont even load.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? all I want to do is find a VS 2013 community download. I was directed here from a VSSAccount chat, so apologies if I am in the wrong place.

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

I open the link you offered, tried to download VS 2015 Community with Update 5 successfully:

From your description, the reason is related to the sign in VSSAccount, please visit : https://www.visualstudio.com/my/myvsfaq to get the appropriate subscription account.

Then please refer to Proxy Authorization Required,  have a try to whitelist the following list to unblock all sign-in scenarios in Visual Studio:

◦*.microsoftonline.com

◦*.visualstudio.com

◦*.microsoft.com

◦*.live.com
