I am new to SharePoint and have to make the UI of an existing site better. I am trying to change the font size of the navbar items but not able to locate the exact file. Through developer console, I got the css code which needs to be changed. After editing it and saving it in a seperate css file, I uploaded it to the Site Contents and was trying to inherit in the master page of the SharePoint site. However, this didn't work. Hence, I tried to find the code which I wanted to change in the "https://site/_layouts/15/1033/styles/Themable/corev15.css". In that the code was not there. The code I tried to apply is:
