I'm having difficulties trying to grant permissions to a certain library in a site. 

我有一个名为'Rental'的用户组。我去了基础设施网站名为"房间出租"的列表，打破了继承并将该组权限授予该列表。 

I have a user group called 'Rental'. I went to the list called 'Rooms to Rent' of the infrastructure site, broke inheritance and gave this group permissions to that list.

Problem is that the members of this group can't see the navigation of the 'Infrastructure' site to get there.

I also went to the homepage of the infrastructure site and gave the 'Rental' group permissions to that page.

That doesn't solve the problem either.

When I go to the site settings and give that group permissions there, they can see everything from the infrastructure site while I only want them to see the Rooms to rent list and the navigation to get there.

have you tried providing READ access to "Rental" group on the Infrastructure site?

On list you have already set the custom permission.
