Hi,
in a vs 2008 solution i've got to move an edmx file (entity framework 1) from the app_code dir of a website down to a class library project of the same solution with output bin set to the bin dir of the web app.
I've done it and it works (after some arrangements) but now the emdx file and the design files are not linket togheter. Infact I deteled the newly generater design file and i left the old one.

How can I polish all that? Is that dangerous to leave all that like this?

Yes, this seems a bit dubious. I would suggest deleting the old one and leaving the new one, which should live under the edmx file, in place. That way, if the EDMX file changes, your code will be updated correctly as well.
