You don''t want to install either.

Firstly, you should never need VS on your web server - you use VS on your development machine to create and test the site or web app, then transfer the release version to your webserver. VS is not required and should not be installed.

Secondly, SQL server will already be installed (if your hosting plan allows for it) - all you need is the connection string which your hosting service will provide. The SQL server instance you talk to from your site may not even be on the same machine that hosts the web service - it could be installed on a farm of DB servers connected via a LAN. If you need to administer the database, then you use the remote access connection string (which may or may not be the same as the one your site uses) to connect from your development machine where you already have SSMS installed.

Unless you own the hardware and have physical access to it you cannot install apoplications on a web server.
