In making visual adjustments to our SharePoint platform we keep running into problems with poor quality background images.

I've looked in a few places in the forum and the platform to find image sizing and pixel requirements yet I haven't found that there is any... yet it is clear that there is a minimum. To maintain the integrity and quality of the image it would be nice to know what the parameters are. And any advice you may have in setting these images to maintain a high level of quality would be welcome. We'd also like to keep images being input into the library for other reasons within those parameters too.
