I have been looking around but I see no way to upload content other than images when publishing apps.
I'd like to have videos showing usage, or in case of games gameplay videos or even just trailer. 
It does not even have to be an upload function, it could just be an embed section in the same content page next to the images, where you could embed youtube videos.

There is no way to achieve this in the current store infrastructure. If you want to suggest this feature to be added in the future you can submit it as an idea via Uservoice at: http://wpdev.uservoice.com/

It also might be a good idea to get people to vote for that idea as that increases the odds of it actually being implemented.
