Hi,

I Can't Uninstall Microsoft .Net Core 1.0.0 RC2 Preview VS 2105 Tooling Preview from my system. When i try either repairing it or uninstalling it I get the error "The specified account already exists" 5 times before it times out and come up with the error code 0x80070643 - Fatal error during installation. I tried running Microsoft's Installation & Uninstallation Troubleshooter to no avail. I tried running CCleaner to see if t can uninstall it to no effect. I tried adding the parameter SKIP_VS_CHECK=1 and it still fails. I tried to repair it and see if that will help with uninstalling it and gives the same error. I am out of ideas.

The Error 0x80070643 usually means that install packages missing or broken (Such as the WebTools Extension), in this situation, you couldn't uninstall the .Net Core 1.0.0 RC2 Preview smoothly.

Please try the following steps:

1. Download a copy of that file from Microsoft in  this link for Preview 1.

2. after using this copy to install and repair again,

3. Use /uninstall /force command to uninstall this component:
