When I try to FTP publish my website I get these errors. Can anyone help?

500 ORT Not Understood
500 LPRT Not Understood.

And if I try to publish the Front Page way I get a server Timed Out Error.

You did not mention who is hosting your website, nor did you list the server and if Front page extensions are enabled.

1. Your website must be hosted on a microsoft server (not unix)
2. Front page extensions must be enabled
