I had a similar issue, which I just fixed. I had some RequiredFieldValidators that weren''t working (i.e., the validation passed when the textboxes were empty) when I pressed an asp:Button when using jQuery Mobile. Turns out the problem was that I didn''t have a ScriptManager on the mobile masterpage, and adding it fixed the problem.
