I'm having a problem signing in to Visual Studio.

I can sign in successfully to the account with web browser but when I try to sign in to Visual Studio it says ID or Password is not recognised.

Tried to call support / chat to support but after hours going round in circles I'm in no mood for more calls and the only page they can direct me to asks for support contract or credit card info but I don't have either for Community Edition.

Anyone know how to resolve or have a direct contact in support that can help?

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

For this issue, I suggest you re-run the VS 2017 Community installer as administrator, then click the icon besides ' Launch ' and choose ' Repair ' to perform a repair and continue the setup process.

Log in website https://app.vssps.visualstudio.com/profile/view?, check your account or re-create a new Microsoft account and then sign in to check if everything works fine.
