There has a namespace in .Net Framework called Microsoft.Office.Tools.Excel which contains a set of types that extend and support the Microsoft Office Excel object model in projects created by using the Office development tools in Visual Studio. It has ActiveSheet Property.

You could also call Mathcad DLLs from c++ application.
