I am trying to upgrade the TypeScript version from 1.0.3 to 1.8.5 in my VS2013 Premium. I downloaded it and installed it in my machine. It does show up in my Control Panel but when I look into the location - C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\TypeScript I see only folder 1.0. I tried repairing my VS but still no luck. I read over web changing the PATH variable value but since I don't have 18.5 under SDKs I don't see it being of any help

Meanwhile, I tested it on my VS 2013 and after the initial installation of VS 2013, check the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\TypeScript and have the folder '1.0', then check its version as below:

Then Go to Tools-Extensions and Updates-Online, search the ‘TypeScript’ and download ‘TypeScript 1.8.2 for Visual Studio 2013’ to install, the installation is successfully and check the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\TypeScript again, the folder ‘1.8’ like the following:
