Hello!  I've been having a problem with error C1023 in Visual Studio 2005  for quite some time, ever since I switched to a Windows Vista machine.  It seems to have the issue the first time I build my solution after logging in each day.  I think it has something to do with file permissions.  When I open up the IDE, I get a message box suggesting that I start it with administrator permissions, even though I AM running it as administrator, and am a member of the administrator group on my machine.

So, ideally, I'd like to try getting Visual Studio to run with administrator permissions and seeing if that will fix the pch problem.  I just installed an update, but it didn't change anything that I could tell.

Less ideally, but still great, would be to make the pch problem go away.

And good still, would be to be able to set up a macro that rebuilds the specific project associated with the 'corrupt' pch.  I've looked into this a bit, but I don't know how to detect which error occurred, in which project, and how to rebuild that specific project.

So, I'm still trying to get around this issue.  Anyone have any clues?

Try right-clicking on the Visual Studio 2005 icon, and select "Run as Administrator". Does that solve your problem?
