There are 8000+ crawled property of category "SharePoint" on our farm. We use 2013 search to crawl both 2010 and 2013 farm. I try to narrow down the scope of crawled properties to work with by specify the sitecollection parameter. However, It does not have any effect, no matter if I use a 2010 sitecollection guid or 2013 one.
