Hello,

I have a new calendar with views created based on categories and I am trying to create overlays for the categories but when I try to create an overlay, the calendar list drop down does not show my calendar list nor do the views appear in the List View drop down. Can anyone explain why this would happen and what I can do to fix it? Any help is most appreciated.

Whether you want to create a calendar overlay for current calendar views?

If that’s the case, we are not able to overlay views in the same calendar. We can overlay another SharePoint calendar as long as both SharePoint calendars are in the same site collection.

As a workaround, you can create a new calendar and then overlay the views in current calendar.
