Microsoft has provided following link to download run time for visual studio 2015 :--

But somehow, it has stopped working from today. It was working till last week. Now I have following questions on it :--

1- Has Microsoft provided new link to download run time for visual studio 2015 or this link is temporarily down ?

2- I am providing this link in to my msi installer as my application is dependent on run time for VS 2015. I am expecting that client can click on this link and download / install the run time. Can I trust on this link ? 

3- Is this the right way to guide client to provide the link.

As far as I know, now the visual studio 2015 download has moved to the Download older versions of Visual Studio and you can choose to sign in with your MSDN subscription or Join Visual Studio Dev Essentials for free with your Microsoft account.

Take sign in with the Microsoft account as example, after it, please click ‘Downloads’ and search with the keyword like ‘Visual Studio 2015’, then you can get those VS 2015 versions as below:

As my understanding, if your link is the Microsoft official download link, then you can trust it.
