Firstly - apologies for placing this here - no SP 2016 category in the forums? Issue I am having is that when I click the "OneDrive" or "Sites" tiles in the App Launcher, it seems to go to these URLs:

http ：// XXXMysite / _layouts / 15 / MySite.aspx?MySiteRedirect = AllDocuments

http：//XXXMysite/_layouts/15/MySite.aspx ？MySiteRedirect = AllSites

If I remove the MDS-related portion of the URL (ie. /_layouts/15/start.aspx#/) then all works fine - but the App Launcher currently redirects all users  to a page displaying "Sorry, something went wrong", which is of course no good.

Does anyone know how to disable MDS for whatever is doing the MySite redirect?

You could try below script to disable MDS feature for mysite( mysite host in http://sp, if you use other site collection, update to yours).
