Recently tried to reinstall Visual Studio. Uninstalled it from Programs and Features and it said it was successful. I was uninstalling because it was giving an error with csc.exe when testing code.

Now when I start the install I see a diag box come up that says it's writing some files to my Temp folder. I see in task manager the bootstrapper begin but dwindle away then disappear. I have tried removing any traces of Visual Studio from my Program Files as well as repairing the last few versions of Microsoft C++ Redistributable. I have also cleared my Temp folder. I have ran collector.exe and gotten vslogs.

Turns out ColorStorm opened Mirekusoft Install Monitor this third-party application, it blocks the VS installation process. you'd better check if you install any software or application that prevent VS installing, temporarily turn off or shut down them, so that the setup can run smoothly.
