Hi Team，

Hi Team,

I have a requirement to logout the user in SharePoint 2013/2016 FBA based application after x amount of inactive/idea time. I have tried below solutions but none of them solve the problem.

• Run PowerShell script to modify the LogonTokenCacheExpirationWindow, FormsTokenLifetime and UseSessionCookies.
• Modify the setting "Security validation expires" in Central Administration.
• add js code to the master page that uses setTimeOut() to redirect the user to the logout page (It is not working when i open a new tab from the page and start working on new tab, that way my users are not idle but still parent tab is redirecting them to signout page)

Can anyone help me with the solution?
