I''ve watched about 15 tutorials out of about 60 and they seem pretty elementary so far. I also don''t like that the tutorial is limited to 10 minutes per video which makes me think that it isn''t detailed enough because of time constraints.

I don''t know what worked for everyone else, but I started out just programming. Start with a hello world, and keep adding on to it.

In my experience, it''s a heck of a lot easier to learn how to program by doing then by reading.

That said, while IMO it''s best to learn to program by doing, as you come across concepts you''ll want to research them and understand them. For example, I know how to program now, but many years back I spent hours reading article after article on object-oriented programming. Most were more or less the same, but I wanted to fully understand to concept. I could wing it after 1 article, but I wanted to wrap my head around not just how, but why.
