I don't think my scenario is all that unique, but I cannot find an answer.

i have multiple documents (DOCx) that need to be merged into one proposal. Each of these docs to be merged may have merge files or content cotrols themselves. So, i created a recursive routine to handle it. The problem I am having is when a sub doc contains content controls with customxml, the merging of that sub with the main using altchunks does not take the customxml into account!
