Usually the system path variable is concatenated from system path and user path. When I attempt to modify the path, it appears that the resulting system path does not concatenate the user path anymore and appears clipped.

for instance if System Path=c:\windows and user path is c:\work, the resulting path should c:\windows;c:\work, however in the case of the problem it appears as Path=c:\windows

It is rather annoying and might have something to do with invalid paths being present in the path though I am not sure about this.
