I hope someone can help with the below, as I have been trying for months, to no avail.
When viewing datasheets on SharePoint 2010, I receive the following…
"The Datasheet view of this list cannot be displayed. Please wait while the page is redirected to Standard view. If your list does not appear in a few moments, open the list in Standard view"
The error only occurs for me (not my colleagues) on all datasheets.
I am running the following on my system (work laptop): -
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit
MS Office 2016 (32-bit)
MS Project Professional 2010 and 2013 (required for different systems)
Java 8 Update 74
Java 8 Update 74 (64-bit) and 73 (64-bit)
IE11 32-bit and 64-bit – I have tried datasheet view from both the iexplore.exe in both the 32-bit and 64-bit folders in the C:\
SharePoint 2010
I have spent considerable time searching the internet for answers and have tried all of those below, but to no avail.

Site is in Trusted Sites
Site is in Compatibility View list
All windows/IE updates applied
Updated Java
Active X is enabled in IE11 Security settings

- I have tried the following, using the Office14 and Office15 folders. I tried 15 first, then rebooted, then 14.
"Close all Office applications in your machine, then Start>Run>Regedit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\ProductVersion, check if there is a name LastProduct in it. If it doesn’t exist, new a String Value named LastProduct with the value 12.0.6215.1000. If the problem persists, New a DWORD Value named ProInfo with the value 00000001."
IE > F12, then Emulation mode as IE9 and IE10
Nothing works. Please can someone help? I have tried to provide as much information as I can, so please have a look through and see if there is anything I have missed.

Does anyone from Microsoft actually read/respond to these questions? The problems I am having are either with SharePoint, IE or Office, so surely someone from MS can offer something...?
