Hello -- my application was working fine a few days ago, but now suddenly it gives me errors about the Microsoft advertising SDK.

"The name "AdControl" does not exist in the namespace "... Microsoft.Advertising.Mobile.UI"".

I tried repairing the advertising SDK. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. I restarted visual studio. I cleaned the solution.

Please check whether all dlls are installed.

For WP7, check this folder : C:\Program Files\(x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Advertising for Phone

For WP8, check this folder : C:\Program Files\(x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows Phone\v8.0\ExtensionSDKs\MSAdvertising

Check your Xap file (zip) to see whether dlls has been packaged.

Try to build your project without VS (msbuild). Maybe it is VS Xaml designer issue.

Try to check the xaml namespace.

Try to create a quick app and drag/drop AdControl to see whether it works or not. If works, diff the xaml.
