I need to update the selection of dropdown choices for a new item form on our sharepoint 2010 internal site. I have updated the column and added the new value.

When I click add new item I don't see the new option in the list. Am I missing something simple? Is there another form, template, etc...that I need to update to include the new choice?

Hi devfrag, 

根据我的测试，要更改选择列的选择值，导航到列表设置 - >在列部分，单击选择列 - >更改选择列的选项 - >点击确定。 

Per my test, to change the choice value of choice column, Navigate to list settings->In columns section, click the choice column->change the choices of the choice column->click ok.
