Hello,

Is there anyway in word to link a word or sentence in word to a cell in access?  Basically I want a user to be able to type:

There are 7 apples in the bag.  Then at some later time I can run a macro that looks in a database and changes "7" to whatever the new number is.

If there is not an easy way to do this automatically, is there some way I can tag the word "7" so that I can use a VBA loop to search for all the linked words, and then I can use SQL to query the database with VBA.  This would mean I need to 'tag' the word to not only tell me it is linked, but also to which entry in the database it is linked to.  I know powerpoint has the ability to add tags to slides/objects.  Can I do this in word?
