The web part zones become available when I edit a page from the gears menu, but not the wiki section.   I have to choose edit page from the page tab on the ribbon in order to edit wiki content. I created a sub site that is using the out of the box Seattle master page with the body only page layout and the issue still occurs. The Publishing and Enterprise features are activated. The build version is  15.0.4953.1000. The error that occurs every time that I try to edit the page using the gear icon is:

It seems some of the feature(s) is not coinciding with your site template or on the page. Could you please tell us this has migrated from SP2010 ? Have you done Visual upgrade on post migration?
