I'm new to WP development, so maybe this is a stupid question: how can I schedule events so they occur on a regular basis? I have already tried the Timer function, but the problem is its accuracy. I tried to develop a simple metronome, but the ticks sometimes are played with a tiny delay (or sometime a bit to soon). The deviations are really really small, but if you listen closely, you can hear it.

I only tried in the emulator, but I think this has nothing to do with the emulator itself and will be like this on a real phone as well?!

It is bit hard to reproduce your issue. If possible can you post with a simple sample. So i can check with the sample and help you out to resolve this if possible.
