I have spent endless hours on this. I understand how I can create my own templates and that I need to create one for 'Control' and also for 'item' but there is nothing out there on 'the www' that gives me the code I need to add to these files or where to add them in order to display the search results with a 'grouping effect' which you get with a SharePoint list. I have seen a considerable amount of posts on google asking the same question but no-one seems to have the answer?

I found a template on GitHub that promised this but it just errors and there is no forum to question why.
