I am creating a program that will run on multiple computers and write to an excel file in a common place on the network. the problem is, not every computer is running the same version of excel. some are running 07 and some are running 10. if i reference 07 then it won't work with 10, if i reference 10 then it won't work with 07. i have figured out how to determine which version of excel the computer is running, but how do i tell the program which version to reference? is their a way to reference all types of excel versions(like a generic excel reference)?
