Required : capture perfmon type data during boot up phases of an XP client

Perfmon: Can perfmon capture during boot and if so have you got any config guide for it.

Remote Perfmon: can you use remote perfmon to capture information on the IO / etc during the boot phase of the remote client.

If perfmon is not the tool, And I have had a quick look at Xperf can you recommend a method that will allow the capture of load metric on the boot phase.
