I've been working on a project in the VS 2008 Express editor and even though I fixed my program such that both the debug and release builds compile, execute, and exit completely find, when I go to the release exe generated by the compiler, it freezes at startup and says that "XXXX.exe has stopped working". If I try to debug all it tells me is that there are known compatibility issues. I thought maybe VS 2008 just didn't work for Win 7, so I upgrade my project to 2010 but it still doesn't work. I am using Win 64, but I am compiling with Win 32 so maybe that is the problem? I don't know how to fix this though :(
