Hi,

Im a beginner learning ASP.NET.
As a requirement I need to setup IIS on my machine and test http://localhost in browser.

The IIS installation was successfull.
Open IE7 and typed "http://localhost" . It returned "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

Anyone here can help what i have missed out.

Try creating a quick website project in Visual Studio: when you try to run it, it will access "http://localhost:<port number>/<Project name>/<page name>.aspx"
