Hi,
I am unable to automate through cross hair tool,record and play back options in coded UI for Desktop folders,files etc. I tried in two scenarios.
(1)Universal Windows(Coded UI Test Project) Desktop is not recognizing as a UI for crosshair tool.(2)Test(Coded UI Test Project i.e record and playback option)Record and Playback is able to record actions but when I run the test after generating code,test case
is failing.Alternate I tried adding assertions through crosshair tool and ran the test,test case is failed here also.
Can anyone provide the solution for this?

If we want to record and play back actions on Desktop, we have to use Test (Coded UI Test Project), as Universal Windows (Coded UI Test Project) does not support record.

In my machine, I record a series of actions by using Coded UI test as following steps:
开始录制-> 在桌面上打开文件夹-> 在内部打开文件-> 关闭文件-> 关闭文件夹->生成代码 ->添加并生成-> 关闭 UIMap编码的UI测试构建器-> 运行测试
Start recording -> open a folder on the Desktop-> open the file inside -> close file -> close the folder -> Generate code -> Add and generate -> close the UIMap-Coded UI test builder -> run the test
完成上述操作后，编码的UI测试可以成功播放记录的动作.
After the operations above, the coded UI test could successfully playback the actions recorded.
